    Event

US FOMC meeting · Oct 27–28

    Federal Reserve · FOMC ↗Reviewed 2026-10-25
    Reason · Alternative scenario

A more restrictive policy signal than expected, alongside a stronger dollar and rising Treasury yields, could pressure crypto prices. Even an easing signal may not support prices if growth concerns dominate.

    Reassessment conditions

Reassess against the official outcome, expectations and actual price reactions. No rate increase or cut is assumed to have occurred.

  2. Date
    Event

US Q3 GDP · advance estimate

    BEA · Release schedule ↗Reviewed 2026-10-25
    Reason · Alternative scenario

A larger-than-expected slowdown could trigger risk aversion. Prices could instead recover if easing expectations dominate; a GDP reading alone does not determine crypto direction.

    Reassessment conditions

Review the release versus expectations, other same-day data, the dollar and yields. This conditional scenario includes no current consensus estimate or price analysis.

FUNDING FIELD GUIDE / Binance

How to fund Binance

From funding Upbit with KRW to transferring crypto, plus separate P2P and card guides.

Choose one method, then check eligibility. Methods 1–3 are alternatives, not consecutive steps.

① Transfer crypto to an address

Upbit KRW deposit → prepare crypto → transfer to Binance. Check withdrawal eligibility first.

  1. Check whether the route is permitted

Check Upbit’s supported destinations, matching account-owner details and Travel Rule requirements, plus Binance residence eligibility. A small transfer does not waive all restrictions.

  2. Fund Upbit with KRW and prepare crypto

In Upbit’s deposit/withdrawal area, select KRW and follow the deposit instructions for your linked account and authentication. After crediting, check an asset and network supported at both ends before obtaining crypto. Buying exposes you to fees and price changes.

  3. Open the receiving exchange’s deposit menu

On Binance, choose Deposit → Deposit Crypto. A bank transfer and a blockchain crypto deposit are different methods. Find Deposit Crypto in the example below.

Open the receiving exchange’s deposit menu
Official help screenshot · click to enlarge ↗
  4. Match asset, network, address and memo

Choose the asset and the exact network supported by the sender. Copy the address from your own account and any required memo/tag. Never use a screenshot address or QR code. A matching ticker or similar-looking address does not prove network compatibility.

  5. Review holds and costs before submitting

Use the asset’s withdrawal function in Upbit, checking amount, network, destination, address, memo and owner details. KRW deposits may trigger a 72-hour initial or 24-hour subsequent withdrawal hold. Check the currently withdrawable amount and answer verification questions truthfully.

  6. Check transfer history and credited funds

Recheck the full address and network before final approval. Save the TXID and compare the receiving deposit history. Do not resend merely because crediting is delayed. Confirmations, maintenance and minimums can affect crediting; recovery is not guaranteed.

② Buy crypto with P2P

Pay a counterparty within a platform order; this is not a direct KRW deposit to the exchange.

  1. Check region, currency and verification

Check that P2P, your fiat currency and payment method are available to your account. Do not assume KRW support or use another person’s account or false residence details.

  2. Open P2P Buy

Open Trade → P2P Trading and select the buying side, asset, fiat currency and payment method. Make sure you are not on Sell.

    Open P2P Buy
Official help screenshot · click to enlarge ↗
  3. Compare offer terms

Compare limits, deadline, seller history, payment methods and terms—not just price. Reputation does not eliminate risk. Do not order if extra conditions are unclear.

  4. Pay only against the platform order

Review the amount and crypto quantity before creating an order. Use a payment account in your own name and match the order’s recipient details. Stop and contact support if redirected to another account or off-platform deal.

  5. Mark paid only after actually paying

Mark the order paid only after payment completes. If asked to cancel after paying, preserve evidence and use the platform dispute process rather than canceling blindly.

  6. Confirm receipt of crypto

Verify the exchange balance and completed order, not just a seller message. For delays, contact official support with the order ID and payment evidence. Do not pay private “release fees” or extra deposits.

③ Buy crypto with a card

This is a crypto purchase, not an on-chain deposit. Check card, country, currency and final costs.

  1. Check card eligibility

Check required identity verification, card ownership, issuer country, residence and currency support. Korean-issued cards are not assumed to work. Do not bypass restrictions using false country settings.

  2. Select card in the buy menu

In Buy Crypto, select currency, amount and asset, then check the card option under Pay With. Stop if it is not offered.

Select card in the buy menu
Official help screenshot · click to enlarge ↗
  3. Review the final quote and processor

Compare the total charge, crypto received, exchange rate, spread and fees. If redirected, verify the payment provider’s domain and terms, plus issuer charges. No fixed fee or instant credit is promised.

  4. Use only the official payment flow

Only if you decide to proceed, enter card details in the verified payment flow and complete issuer authentication. Never enter card numbers, CVCs or OTPs on this guide or in chat. Check order status before retrying a failed authorization.

  5. Reconcile order, card charge and balance

A card authorization alone does not prove crypto was credited. Compare purchase history and balance. Holds, failures and refunds depend on provider and issuer processing; retain the order ID and contact official support.

If something goes wrong

Should I send again if the deposit is missing?

No. Compare the sender’s TXID, network, address and confirmations with the exchange deposit history. A completed withdrawal is not the same as credited funds. Check minimum deposits and confirmation requirements, then contact official support. Recovery and timing are not guaranteed.

What if someone asks for my password?

Never share passwords, OTPs, seed phrases or recovery codes. Open support from the official site, not unsolicited messages. Stop if asked to install remote-control software or transfer extra money.

Prices, offers, networks and timings in screenshots are not current quotes. Check your own account. Never send to an example address or QR code.
